DSA Compliance
How LiveKit complies with the EU Digital Services Act, including content moderation, illegal content reporting, and designated points of contact.

LiveKit Inc. ("LiveKit," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to operating its services in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act ("DSA"). The DSA establishes a legal framework to promote a safe, transparent, and accountable online environment across the European Union.
This page explains how LiveKit fulfils its obligations under the DSA in relation to content moderation, the reporting of illegal content, and identifies our DSA legal representative and designated points of contact for all users who access or use LiveKit's services from within the European Union.
Reporting Illegal Content#
Any individual or entity may report content available on LiveKit's services that they consider to be illegal under applicable European Union or Member State law. Reports may be submitted by email to:
To enable LiveKit to assess and act on your report efficiently, please include the following information:
- A clear explanation of the reasons why you consider the reported content to be illegal, with reference, where possible, to the specific legal provision(s) you believe to be violated.
- The exact URL or other identifier sufficient to locate the content on our services.
- Your name and contact information (an email address is sufficient).
- A statement confirming that you believe in good faith that the information and assertions contained in your report are accurate and complete.
LiveKit will acknowledge receipt of your report and will review it in a timely manner in accordance with the DSA and our internal content moderation policies. You will be informed of our decision regarding the reported content, together with a statement of reasons where required by the DSA.
DSA Legal Representative#
In accordance with Article 13 of the DSA, LiveKit has designated the following legal representative for the purpose of receiving communications from EU Member State regulatory authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services on matters pertaining to the DSA:

DSA Single Point of Contact for Authorities#
LiveKit has also designated a point of contact to receive orders issued under Article 9 and 10 from judicial or administrative authorities. These authorities should direct their DSA related orders to dsa_sor_prod@livekit.io. This contact point should not be used for any other purpose. Please submit all communications in English.
